Tjapukai by day or by night (You choose)
Tour Description:
Tjapukai by Day
Tjapukai’s show business has become the most awarded Aboriginal cultural attraction in Australia and is credited with enhancing reconciliation locally, nationally and internationally.
Seven separate arenas allow visitors to experience every facet of the rainforest people’s culture — from the provocative History Theatre to the inspiring Creation Theatre, and the original Dance Theatre and the interactive Camp Village, where visitors can learn didgeridoo playing and boomerang throwing.
Tjapukai By Night
Only from the darkness do we see the light... A powerful and personal experience that will leave you with a deep and lasting memory, and open your heart to the beauty and power of Australia's ancient indigenous culture!
Gadja and Quinkan spirits introduce the Dreamtime, where guests are taken to become an interactive part of an ancient corroboree ritual, climaxing in the ceremonial making of a fire.
Dine at a beautifully presented buffet, which uses the best of the region’s fare, and enjoy great Australian wines. Afterwards, the lights dim, heralding the finale of the night.
The Tjapukai claim the stage, presenting their culture with their inimitable blend of theatre and humour. The tribe’s hunters conduct a witty, unsuccessful kangaroo hunt and then must sing for their supper.
Tjapukai by Night includes optional evening transfers to and from North Cove. There are photo opportunities with the Tjapukai dancers and free time to browse for quality gifts in the multi-award winning Tjapukai gallery before guests depart.
